Just a few short months after meeting Alex and Josh I was so excited to photograph their Baton Rouge Gallery wedding. We did their engagements so close to the wedding due to Josh’s busy schedule. But I’m so glad that I was able to meet and hang out with the couple before their big day. Getting to meet and hang out for awhile before the wedding day is my favorite part of engagement sessions. Alex and Josh rocked their engagement session so I knew their wedding would be amazing.
Psst…If you happen to have missed their engagement session, definitely check them out HERE.
The Baton Rouge Gallery was a beautiful choice of venue. Located in City Park in Baton Rouge near LSU, the grounds are gorgeous with trees every where. The gallery itself has two large rooms full of artwork and an outside terrace area where the ceremony took place. The ceremony area was decorated with a beautiful floral arch and hanging string lights. So dreamy and romantic. Perfect for a spring wedding.
Fortunately the rain stayed away that day and the weather was warm. Perfect for the mostly outdoor wedding. The ceremony took place outside on the terrace under the floral arch. The ceremony was so sweet and we all even a few laughs. The reception also took place on the terrace with cake and food inside. The night ended with a sparkler exit. The perfect end to a beautiful Baton Rouge Gallery wedding.
Down below are a few of my favorites from the night. Scroll on down a take a look.
