As a Baton Rouge wedding photographer, I get to have sessions with couples in old favorite locations as well as new interesting ones. So when Brittney and Morgan were up for a Denham Springs Antique Village engagement session, I was excited. I don’t get to have sessions in this location very often. It’s definitely unique and interesting, so I love when couples choose the Antique Village as their location.
Denham Springs Antique Village is in the heart of Denham Springs. It’s filled with lots of antique shops as well as a book store and a cute coffee shop. As you walk around you’ll find several murals in the area. This location is one of my favorites for sessions.
Brittney and Morgan drove all the way from Mississippi for their session. It was a bit chilly that day. Funny since it had been warm the week before. Got to love that back and forth Louisiana weather. Brittney was a bit chilly, but you’d never know from their photos. We had a great time walking around and taking photos all along the main road in the Antique Village as well as on the side streets. The murals make an especially beautiful location for photos. They are a sweet laid back couple and were up for anything I asked. Some times the things I ask may seem a bit odd or awkward, but I promise it looks great in photos.
So take a look below at a few of my favorites from Brittney and Morgan’s Denham Springs Antique Village engagement session.
