FILLING YOUR WALLS AND REMIND YOU OF LIFE’S SWEETEST SEASONS?
That’s our speciality.
A lifetime of memories.
Regardless of the season that you’re in, and whether your babies are big, small or furry, this time in your life deserves to be captured by something other than your iPhone. Family sessions were born from past wedding couples asking us to document their growing families and now we just can’t get enough!
We love creating photos to remind families that in spite of the fact that the car of their floor is covered in cereal, their laundry room looks like an episode of hoarders and mom and dad are in a permanent state of exhaustion, their love and their story are beautiful.
So let’s plan a day, pick a location that is meaningful to you and create a slew of images that will fill up the frames your walls for years to come.
i highly recommend anyone looking for a photographer to look no further. Mariko is amazing at what she does and we couldn’t have asked for more!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it’s going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we’ll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule. Often, when we’re scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we’ll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don’t have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
The sooner the better! Our weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly – especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to us, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
If picking out outfits for photos takes you back to your high school days when you literally tried on everything in your closet and piled it on your bed but still felt like you had nothing to wear, you’re in luck.
We put together an extensive outfit suggestion guide with tips for every member of the family (even Fido!)
Unless you’ve modeled professionally, you’re probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. Heck, we take photos for a living and we even feel like a deer in the headlights when we’re in front of the camera.
You’re going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and we coach you through images, we think you’ll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don’t worry about your kids. We’re well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones.
Within a few weeks of your session, you’ll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors. No worrying about tricky things like color correction, DPI and image format.
Well, that depends on a lot of factors. Do you want getting ready coverage? Do you have a special send-off planned that you want to be captured? I will say that I do feel like 8 hours is enough to capture your day from getting ready to the reception.
Most of my collections include a second photographer because I don’t want you to miss one moment of your day. You’re more than welcome to add one if your collection doesn’t include one.
Yes, I do! I don’t charge a travel fee for wedding locations 2 hours from my home zip code, 70726. Engagement sessions more than 1 hour away have a $50 travel fee. Out of state engagement fees vary
I love seeing new places and photographing weddings all over. Definitely contact me if you’re interested in a destination wedding.
I feel that the number of hours included in my packages is that’s ideal to cover everything on a wedding day.
I do offer elopement and micro wedding packages for small weddings/elopements. Contact me to find out more about those packages.
Of course. I only take out the photos you don’t want. This includes things like blurry, duplicates, and super unflattering photos. For weddings, I typically deliver about 50-100 photos per hour of coverage. But there is no cap on photos. RAW (unedited) photos are also not delivered. You hired me for my style and I hope that you trust that I will send you all the good ones.
It takes up to 6 weeks to deliver your photos. That being said, my goal is to get your photos back to you sooner. Video takes longer and is more involved than photos. You can expect to have your video in 8-10 weeks. I know you’re excited to see the photos of your wedding so I do my best to make sure the wait isn’t too long.
Each wedding is unique in itself so I can’t give a specific number. On average I deliver 50-100 photos per hour of coverage.
Photos are delivered through my gallery software company. You can view, download, and share within your gallery. Videos are delivered through Dropbox or WeTransfer.
I describe my style and bold, colorful, and vibrant. I like to think it’s like what you see everyday, just amped up a little. I’m a natural light photographer, but I can and will use flash when necessary. While engagement sessions tend to be more posed, wedding days are a mix of candid and posed, but mostly candid.
I do minimal editing to each photo including color correction and lighting correction. I also bring out of the vibrant colors of the scene. More extensive editing is provided with an additional fee.
For every wedding, there are specific photos that I know I need to take. I know that sometimes you want to make sure I capture a specific moment, event, or person. Make sure to let me know in the space provided on the pre-wedding questionnaire you will receive before your wedding. I’m also more than willing to photograph anything you think of during the day as long as time allows for it.
While I could edit in another style, that’s not something I do. The reason behind this is I specifically photograph in a way that compliments my style. Other styles photograph in a specific way to compliment their style. I’d much rather you find someone who specializes in the style you’re asking for because they will be able to give you the absolute best of that style.
All I need from you to book is for you to pick your collection, sign the agreement, and pay the retainer.
I accept cash, debit, credit, cashier’s check, and check.
The retainer is a flat fee of 900 no matter what collection you choose. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
Once you pay your retainer, you are more than welcome to make a payment at any time. As long as you’re fully paid off 30 days before your wedding, I don’t mind how often or how much you want to pay towards your balance. If you’d like for me to set up scheduled invoices to be sent to you on a specific schedule just let me know and I can get that set up for you.
